QA Consultant – Automated Testing – Sydney
Our client is a leading ERP Consulting, Support and Development company and they are currently looking for a QA consultant to develop Automated Testing procedures for various internet based applications sold globally.
This is an outstanding role for someone with excellent Automated Software Testing experience, with great career progression. For the right person this could become a team lead role.
Responsibilities will include:
* Create and maintain product test plan (manual & automated) for effectiveness and completeness
* Monitor the integrity of product documentation
* Software testing
* Communicate effectively with programmers, consultants and other team members
* Contribute to product enhancement and development
* Assist in Business partner helpdesk problem resolution and service
The skills we will be looking for from the successful candidate will be as follows:
* Previous experience supporting or testing accounting software
* Minimum of 2 years creating automated testing plans
* Technical knowledge including basic SQL knowledge
* Good understanding of business processes
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Outstanding attention to detail
* Well organised and efficient
You will also need strong interpersonal skills to work in this role with a proactive attitude, strong self initiative, excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to learn and self educate.
