ERP Developer (Pronto)
Accounting and ERP Software Consultancy needs a strong Developer who can learn new tools for this great role.

Our client sells, supports and maintains accounting and business solutions(ERP) software packages. Reporting to the technical director you will be a key resource in this organisation and your role will include : Customising applications pre-implentation, systems and data integration, developing new modules, reporting and analysis.
Technical Skills:
The successful applicant will use a variety of skills in carrying out this role. Due to the level of customisation required pre implementation you will be required to become productive with proprietary 4GLs. So any experience with Pronto 4GL will be looked on favourably. Otherwise Cobol, Pascal or similar 4GL experience is essential.
Industry Knowledge:
Although not essential, it would be advantageous if you had experience within the Accounting, Accounting Software, ERP, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing or allied industries. An understanding of Accounting practice would be highly advantageous.
Essential Criteria:
* Strong communication skills – written and oral
* Proven commercial experience as a technical analyst programmer with the technologies as above.
* Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analysis skills.
* Strong design skills.
* A quality approach to software development.
* Ability to work autonomously.
Desirable attributes:
* Experience with PRONTO 4GL
