Helpdesk Consultant – North Sydney

Our client is a leading ERP Consulting, Support and Development company and they are currently looking for a Helpdesk consultant to support their internet based requisitioning product sold globally.

The job will involve the following tasks and responsilibities:

  • To provide timely and effective support to clients and business partners (telephone, email and internet based)
  • Complete and accurate record fo all helpdesk calls in the support database
  • Regular updates of outstanding calls
  • Effective communication with all internal staff, clients and suppliers
  • Contribution to the online Knowledge database
  • Assist other members of staff where skills are appropriate

The following skills and experience are desired for this role:

  • Tertiary Accounting/IT degree (graduate) and/or sound understanding of business processes
  • At least 2 years in an Accounting Software support or consulting roles
  • Good understanding of business processes
  • Good IT knowledge, must have knowledge of SQL databases and SQL scripting
  • Has excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Will be able to on their own and as part of a team
  • Have a strong customer service focus
  • Have a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Solid attention to detail

Of course you will need strong interpersonal skills to work in this role with a proactive attitude, strong self initiative, excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to learn and self educate.
